During my stay in Tokyo in late October 2016, I decided to have some fun with black and white film. I took some rolls of Tri-X with my Nikon FE-2 and 50/1.4 mm lens, aswell as with my Ricoh GR1s compact camera. The rolls were pushed one stop in development. I like the elevated contrast and slightly protruding grain.
These photos were taken in Shiodome, which is an office district with huge skyscrapers and a monorail called Yorikamome, at Ginza station, and also around Yoyogi / south Shinjuku.
